During his 25 years in Estes Park, Dick Orleans became an integral part of our community, touching many lives as more than just a gifted musician and artist. He possessed a special talent for making everyone feel like a close friend, often engaging in meaningful conversations with people he had just met, even in unexpected places. The remarkable turnout of over 700 people at his memorial service truly reflected the deep impact he had on our community.

Dick Orleans, talented musician. wildlife photographer, recording engineer, and computer guru, passed away suddenly on May 12, 2014, in Estes Park, CO. This video slide show was created by our sister, Christine Orleans Cartier for Dick's Memorial service. The background music was composed, performed, and recorded by Dick, and all the photos are his as well. He had a truly multifaceted career and made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
"I wanted to post it for all his family and friends who still miss him on this first anniversary of his death.
Rest in Peace, Brother Dick!"
