He is well known for his vibrantly lyrical saxophone playing, signature scat singing, and seamless command of many Jazz styles, as well as his great warmth and humor. Max performs as a solo act or as a duo, trio or quartet as needed. Cairn Music is a woodwind trio that formed in 2018 to serve the local community by providing music in recital and for weddings and other events. Annaka Hogelin
Solo Clarinetist, Teaching, Lessons Annaka is a classically trained musician and educator, teaching clarinet, saxophone, chamber music, and basic musicianship, as well as leading woodwind sectionals. Her students have been members of All-State band and received top scores in solo & ensemble competitions. She is a founding member of the woodwind chamber ensemble, Cairn Music.
