Oratorio Society of Estes Park and the Estes Park Chamber Orchestra
The purpose of the Oratorio Society is to provide an opportunity for area musicians to perform major works of choral and instrumental classical music for the cultural enrichment of the community.(Examples of such music include, but are not limited to, oratorios, masses, symphonies, concertos, overtures.) Participation is open to any singer or instrumentalist who wishes to perform and has a commitment to the necessary rehearsals.

The Estes Park Jazz Big Band, directed by Chuck Varilek, is made up of talented musicians from Estes Park and surrounding communities. The band features music from the Big Band Era with the swinging sounds of Duke Ellington, Les Brown, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller and Count Basie; as well as newer arrangements for big band.

Rocky Ridge Music Center
Concert Series, Lessons, Summer Programs
Founded in 1942, Rocky Ridge Music Center is dedicated to providing transformative music education at both our historic summer campus in Estes Park, CO and our newly established year-round Music Academy in Boulder, CO.  The Center’s programs give students of all ages and levels a variety of opportunities to work with exceptional artists, teachers, and colleagues from around the world. Rocky Ridge encourages participants to engage in lifelong music-making and to build creative communities where they live and work.

Jazz Festival Estes Park, Colorado
Max Wagner founded and directs the Estes Park Jazz Festival in June each year at Performance Park, 435 West Elkhorn Ave.

I am a classically trained clarinetist, who grew up around Jazz and loves Jazz, too. I have played in the Austin Symphony, the East Texas Symphony, the Bear Valley Symphony Orchestra, the New Orchestra of Spain, among others. I have also played in musicals, operas, and ballets. I play Eflat, Bass, and soprano clarinets.
