It's a Party, It's a Gumbo Cook-Off, It's a Costume Contest
American Legion Post 119, is hosting a Fat Tuesday-Mardi Gras Party.
Craft beverages including Hurricanes will be available for purchase. We will be decked out with Mardi Gras beads, party favors, great music, and of course, King Cake!

Doors open at 5pm - $5 Cover

Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and/or masks for contest - Fun prizes!
Come join us and help continue to support the American Legion Post 119 in Estes Park.
The centerpiece of the event is a Gumbo Cook Off – judging criteria is to select the best and most authentic gumbo. 
​First Prize $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50, and addition $25, $25, $25 honorable mentions. Anyone interested in participating in the Gumbo cook off email the American Legion Post 119 
A ​standard crock pot of gumbo is required, and People's Choice will determine the big winner.  Rice will be provided.
