Tuesday Night Live Performance Park Series / All Local Performers 417 West Elkhorn, Estes Park Estes Arts District supports a summer long series of concerts every Tuesday evening through August 23rd at Performance Park. Bring a chair, a blanket, and enjoy a free musical evening featuring local talent. Performances start at 7 pm.
June 7 - Mountain Town Trio
The Mountain Town Trio is mellow and organic, offering acoustic and folk oriented music, while kicking it up a notch here and there with rocking dance tunes. The Trio includes Kevin Dennis and James Moellers from the Mountain Town Rockers, and features vocalist Kim Smith. Kim is an Estes Park native. Her powerful and melodic vocal style has been influenced by the likes of Stevie Nicks and Linda Ronstadt. June 14 - Just Jill Just Jill has been writing poetry and lyrics for as long as she can remember. She can often be found around town with her guitar playing music that reflects her main influences: Bob Dylan, Amos Lee, Mary Gauthier, and Jason Isbell. Jill mixes stories of life and love with songs about moonshine and sunsets. June 21 - Will Thomas Will Thomas is a talented young musician and Estes Park local. He grew up with music all around him with his dad playing bluegrass, and as he learned to play guitar, he branched out to all different types of music. He has a unique sound and style, and plans to make music his full time career and tour professionally. June 28 - Friends of Folk - Tribute to Dick Orleans A group of Estes locals that were dear friends of the late Dick Orleans in cooperation with his family have developed a Dick Orleans Legacy Fund. On June 28th, Tuesday Night Live at Performance Park will be a very special evening as it will be the first annual Friends of Folk Festival to honor and give tribute to Dick for his service and contributions to the Estes Arts community. Many talented artists will play Dick's music, and a $500 grant will be awarded to a member of our community. This promises to be a wonderful evening filled with music, stories, and laughter. You won't want to miss it! >>Read More July 5 - Rocky Ridge Rocky Ridge Music Center, located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, offers summer residential music camps for youths and adults. Under the guidance of world-class faculty and guest artists, students will improve and broaden their musical skills in areas of strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, piano, voice, and composition through solo, chamber music, orchestral, and choral studies. July 12 - Dakota Blue Dakota Blu, a country rock band, began as a high school start up. Their talent and appeal has grown their audience. July 19 - Bogus Flow Next in the Estes Arts District's Tuesday Night Live series is the lo-fi Bogus Flow. The band formed in 2015 and includes talented young musicians Dylan Picard (Guitar), Beau Dacuag (Percussion), Storm Wolf (Bass). July 26 - Lawrence Meredith Musician and physician! August 2 - Bob Smallwood As a self described first generation “British Invasionite”, Bob began his relationship with the guitar and rock & roll in 1964. As the American music scene evolved influenced by “Soul”,” Folk” and later “Swamp Rock” and “California Country Rock”, so did Bob’s taste in music and skills. Today Bob entertains the Locals in the Estes Valley and our visitors to his own originals, '50s '60s and '70s Rock & Roll, Americana Folk and Texas Red Dirt. Known for his finger picking, off color lyrics and vast repertoire of favorites, Bob has a retirement plan; he plans to play guitar, write music and entertain.
